Lady Emem Ibanga leads Nsit Atai to God




Earlier today, the Executive Chairman of Nsit Atai Local Government Area, Lady Emem Ibanga, led hundreds of indigenes of Nsit Atai and beyond to seek the face of God at The Apostolic Church, Odot 3 in Nsit Atai Local Government Area.

The Solemn Assembly, which was the second edition, tagged 'Thank You Lord',  featured prayers of Thanksgiving, Intercession and Supplication to the Almighty God for Lady Emem Ibanga, Nsit Atai Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria at large, while the Bible ready was taken by the Council Chairman,  Lady Emem Ibanga.

Pst. Ibanga Essien in his sermon tagged 'Thank You Lord', charged the congregation on the need to always acknowledge the wondrous works of God and thank Him with sincerity of heart.

"When you remember what God has done for you and you thank Him, you gladden His heart and He is willing to bless you more and more just because you have acknowledged His good deeds in your life" said Pst. Essien.

Pst. Essien further encouraged the people not to relent in praying for the leaders and the peace of Nsit Atai Local Government up to our Nation Nigeria.

Highpoint of the event was the rededication of Nsit Atai Local Government Area to God by Bishop Effiong Ekoi.

While giving her speech, Executive Chairman of Nsit Atai Local Government Area, Lady Emem Ibanga expressed thanks to the Almighty God for the victory of the Executive Governor, Deacon Udom Emmanuel at the Supreme Court. She also appreciated the people for turning out enmasse to seek the face of God.

 "It shows that we love God and supports the growth of Nsit Atai and Akwa Ibom State as a whole" Lady Emem Ibanga said.

She further charged the people to uphold peace and live in unity with one another in their respective communities. She urge the youths to shun violence and social vices that does not bring development to the society.

Lady Emem Ibanga also frowned at the high rate of rape in today's society, she advised young ladies to take precautional measures to avoid falling victim. She warned that any culprit caught will be made to face the full wrath of the law.

The Council Secretary while giving the vote of thanks expressed appreciation to the Almighty God for His mercies, love, guidance and protection upon the Council Chairman, Lady Emem Ibanga and the good people of Nsit Atai Local Government Area. He also expressed appreciation to the Council Executives, Stakeholders, Security Officials, Groups and youths for coming out in their large numbers to seek the face of God in one accord.

Okon PDP Chapter Chairman, Former Council Chairman and Commissioner, Hon Victor Orok,  Apostle Dr. Etim Udoh, Nsit Atai, CAN Chairman, MD of Eminence Oil and Chemicals, Mr.Emmanuel Okon,Wife of the Paramount Ruler, Royal Fathers, Councilors, Hon. Barry James, Dean of Supervisor and Supervisor for Health, Forum of Directors, Arch Bishop Effiong Ekoi and other men of God, Pst. Noble Paul, Chapter Women Leader, Mr. Daniel Akpan, NULGE Chairman, Ward Chairmen, Women groups, Youth Caucus, and ors.
